My yoga journey started as a way to chill out from the side effects of a very stressful and sedentary job. I started taking Hatha classes at a tiny nearby studio and it really improved my overall well being. I decided to venture off and explore different types of yoga. It wasn't until I started practicing in a faster paced environment, that I really understood the connection between breath and asana. My practice is meditation through movement. It has helped me channel my energy in a positive direction and allows me to dig deep and discover that everything I need is already within me.
What can students expect from your class?
We're going on a journey inward and I am here to be your guide! I create an "everyone is welcome and come as you are!" atmosphere in every single class. We'll slow down, breathe and go deep within the body, mind and soul.
What is something interesting people might not know about you?
I jam to Justin Bieber and use crystal healing techniques before every single class. It's my way of telling my ego to take a hike, a reminder to have fun and to get grounded before I walk into the studio.
