Maria is of Jamaican descent but is so proud to share the same hometown as Beyoncé! Her work life in educational nonprofits allows her to connect with students to explore the world and themselves and challenge their growth through new experiences. That is one of the main reasons why she joined the community in 2022! The Studio BE offers new and old yogis the opportunity to gain strength, explore their bodies, or a much needed calm moment!
What is a TV show you can’t stop watching? Sister, Sister meant everything to me growing up and the re-runs still hit!
What’s your favorite yoga pose? A spinal twist of any variation feels the best for my body which often sitting at a desk or in a car!
