Our Community Class Leaders
What is a BE COMMUNITY Class and why is BEYOGA's providing these classes? We want YOU to know our WHY and the who's WHO of the why...
com·mu·ni·ty (noun): a feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals.
Our BE COMMUNITY class was created as a way for the new yoga teacher training grads that have been accepted into the mentorship program to showcase and get experience teaching to a room full of non-teachers. In our Yoga Teacher Training we give them plenty of experience teaching to other teachers and it is big part of growth for a teacher to teach to students of variety levels and body types. We know its is a great first step to go to college, trade school or yoga school to study and gain knowledge and then it is a different learning experience to get to apply that knowledge. The application of knowledge and use of the information that we learn not only gives our students access to the best 200 YTT training program but it fosters a true foundation for growth. The mindset is similar to doctors, they learn and then they have residency so they get to learn and practice real application of the knowledge so they are better at their job. Good thing we are not performing surgery! We get to guide breath and movement to heal bodies holistically!
Meet our recent grads and Mentees that will be providing your BE COMMUNITY classes!
MOE MEYER
"Hi, I’m Moe!
In my classes we’ll be working our way up to powerful peak poses that will challenge you to mindfully go to your edge. All levels are welcome for this full body experience of muscle strengthening (especially the core!) and limb-lengthening goodness that’ll leave you feeling invigorated. Come ready to explore your inner playfulness on the mat!"
BEA WONG
Hi there!! My name is Beatrice, but in the yoga world I go by Bea. I love connecting body to breath so the mind can focus on being present. I’m also a big fan of balancing poses and long savasanas. If you enjoy balancing a good sweat and a mindful experience during yoga join me for a BE COMMUNITY class!
KRISTIN BOOTH
My name is Kristen. I have been practicing yoga since 2007 off and on, but really started deepening my practice in 2016. You may recognize me from working the front desk at BE for the past year. I cannot wait to step on the other side of the studio door as a teacher and share my love of this practice with all of you! Hope to see you in my BE Community classes soon!! XOXO
EMILY RICHTER
Hi! My name is Emily and I fell in love with yoga at BEYOGA, like in my picture I am open to get to know new things and love opening up my heart not only in yoga poses but in real life. I became a yoga teacher so that everyone can experience what I was able to in the last months. I love helping and listening to people almost as much as I love animals and I also believe that people should stick together and be there for each other. I am ready and excited for whatever is to come in my journey!!
