Yoga Classes in Houston

Yoga classes in Houston are offered at The Studio BE, with three styles, BE Flow, BE Zen, and BE Aerial, taught across our Heights, Montrose, and River Oaks studios. Every class is non-heated, so you build heat, strength, and flexibility from the inside out, not from a room cranked to 95 degrees.

Why Our Studios Are Non-Heated, On Purpose

We are a non-heated studio. Our classes stay at room temperature, hovering around 75 degrees depending on the season. You build heat from the inside out, and you’ll feel your own limits and abilities grow without the artificial flexibility that comes from a heated room. You’ll still break a real sweat in BE Flow, this isn’t a passive practice, it’s just built on your body’s own effort instead of the thermostat.

Yoga Styles at The Studio BE

BE FLOW

BE Flow is our alignment-based flow class, intelligently sequenced to help you build heat, flexibility, and strength in body and mind. It’s different from a traditional vinyasa class: come ready to move in creative ways, with options to up-level or modify at every posture. Whether you’re brand new or years into a practice, BE Flow meets you where you are and gives you time to actually explore each shape, not just rush through it.

BE ZEN

BE Zen is our deeply restorative practice, focused on long-held postures that release tension and calm the nervous system. If BE Flow fires you up, BE Zen brings you back down, it’s the class for tight hips, a busy brain, or a week that’s asked too much of you.

BE AERIAL

BE Aerial takes the practice into a fabric hammock for a playful, strength-building class that supports, challenges, and decompresses the body. Aerial is currently taught at our Heights and Montrose studios.
Small Classes, Real Instruction

Houston has plenty of yoga studios. What keeps students coming back to The Studio BE is the room itself: genuinely small class sizes where your instructor can see your alignment, offer a hands-on adjustment, and actually know your name.

Whether you’re coming from the Heights, Montrose, or stopping by River Oaks, you’ll find the same intimate, unhurried approach at every studio. Move with breath, not against the clock.

Meet the Teachers

Every class at The Studio BE is led by instructors trained to teach, not just move through a sequence themselves. Studio co-owners Mel Tello and Gabby Meyer lead the studio’s overall training programs, and the teaching team includes Celeste Gonzalez, Patricia Araujo, Val Gutierrez-Zamora, Jocelyne Trevino, and Brittany Ross, each bringing their own approach to BE Flow and BE Zen across our three locations.
